Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric and/or adult patients in clients' homes. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, providing skilled nursing services per orders.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida LPN/LVN license, current BLS, and TB test or chest X-ray. One year of nursing experience is preferred; flexible scheduling and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in Florida.
• TB test or chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
