Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for Day Shifts. Candidates must have a strong background with nursing experience and hold current Louisiana LPN licensure.

The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care, communicates with physicians and team members, and ensures care aligns with policies and standards. Shift Differentials are paid for all Weekend Shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current Louisiana LPN Licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year's work experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services.
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for Day Shifts. Candidates must have a strong background with previous nursing experience. The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
