RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an on-site, full-time role in Trenton, TN. The position features every-other-weekend shifts from 8a-8p and focuses on compassionate care for individuals with IDD and mental health needs.

You will support the Registered Nurse, administer medications, train unlicensed staff, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote health and well-being across the people we serve.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license without restrictions.
• Active CPR certification or eligibility.
• Effective communication with team and families.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.

No relocation packaged offered.Schedule: Every Other Sat and Sun 8a-8pJob ResponsibilitiesProvide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesAssist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supportedProvide health related training to unlicensed personnelAdminister medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administrationAssist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduledConduct medication closest assessmentsCollect health related dataObserve for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physicianCommunicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary TeamAdvocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supportedRequirementsGraduation from an accredited licensed nurse programCurrent nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certificationMust be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their familiesMust be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasksPhysical requirements include: ability to regularly lift 20 pounds. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Must be able to pull a minimum of 25 pounds. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
