Job summary

Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the day shift on a full-time basis. The role involves direct nursing care, medication administration, and collaboration with CNAs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver quality resident care.

Required are an active Alabama LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Weekend shifts include a differential; a $10,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama LPN license in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the assigned shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs on the assigned unit.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Base Pay: $25.00-$29.55 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Shift Differential: +$0.75/hour on weekends
