Job summary

Hunter Creek Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the evening shift. You will provide hands-on resident care from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on a newly led nursing team.

This full-time role offers base pay of $25.00–$29.55 per hour, plus an evening differential, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. We provide comprehensive benefits and opportunities for continuous education within a supportive leadership environment.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama LPN license in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the assigned shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs on the assigned unit.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
