Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Assisted Living community on the 1st shift. Your role supports daily resident care, safety, and care plan execution in a compassionate, secure environment that promotes independence.

Applicants should hold a current LPN license, CPR certification, and demonstrate a caring, professional demeanor with reliable transportation and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• We are Looking For individuals with a can-do attitude and enjoyment of caring for others.
• Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic are required.
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills are expected.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• At least 18 years of age and HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain close relationships with residents.
• Take initiative and guide RA and CNA staff.
• Provide stellar resident care as directed by each resident’s care plan.
• Make resident safety a daily priority.
• Continually assess, record, and document resident health and concerns.
• Assist with and monitor resident medication needs.
