Job summary

Seminole Care & Rehabilitation Center in Seminole, OK is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will lead individualized care plans, monitor residents’ conditions, and administer medications with precision and empathy.

Full-time night shifts 11pm–7am (Thu-Sun) available, with competitive pay, shift differential, PTO after 30 days, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) with company match, and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Valid CPR certification required in Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents resident conditions and needs.
• Implements physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns care tasks to team per resident needs.
• Administers medications.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments as assigned.

Essential Functionsof Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties may be assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• 1 year nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN License is required in the state of Oklahoma
• Valid CPR certification
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
