Job summary

Leisure Village Health Care Community in Oklahoma is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team. You will provide skilled nursing care under physician orders, document resident conditions, and collaborate with staff to exceed regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license for Oklahoma.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and assist in all aspects of nursing.
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Assess and document residents' condition and needs.
• Administer medications and start IVs as required.

• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time qualifying candidates
• Baylor Pay - work 32 hours and be paid for 40 hours!

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN license for the state of Oklahoma is required
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
