East Gate Care and Rehab in Oklahoma is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Join our small team environment with the resources of a large network across two states.

Available shifts include Days 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Afternoons 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, and Nights 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time, competitive pay, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing care for residents.
• Provide services that meet company and regulatory standards.
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents' condition and needs.
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign nursing care tasks to team members per residents’ needs.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Start IVs and perform treatments for assigned residents.
• Document treatments as required.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are safe and maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
