Job summary

Anson Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Staff Nurse (LPN) to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. You will plan and provide nursing care under the direction of the Director of Nursing, including supervising CNAs, coordinating unit care, and administering medications.

Unrestricted LPN license required. 12-hour day shifts available full-time or part-time with a competitive benefits package including PTO, health, dental, vision, a pharmacy plan, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Unrestricted LPN license required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit ensuring staff can provide appropriate care.
• Provide safe medication-related interventions and accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physician of changes in status.
• Develop and implement care plans based on assessment.
• Institute nursing interventions to stabilize residents and prevent complications.

Anson Health & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

Applicant must have unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Sign on bonus is available. 12-hour day shift, full time or part time

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the LPN may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
