Job summary

AMI Expeditionary Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for short-term contract opportunities in the Harrisburg, PA area. The role delivers direct patient care in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities and supports an interdisciplinary team dedicated to resident well-being.

The ideal candidate holds PA LPN licensure, current BLS, and at least 1 year of LPN experience, with strong communication and teamwork. Pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of one (1) year of LPN experience.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association compliant).
• Successful completion of all pre-employment screening and clearance requirements, incl background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice established by Pennsylvania LPN licensure requirements.
• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions, observations, and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with facility policies and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
• Build positive, professional relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
• Participate in orientation, continuing education, and training programs as required.
• Follow all facility, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive care environment.

Position Summary
