Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in Richland, MS is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing and supportive care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes coordinating with physicians, the hospice team, and community resources to ensure optimal patient care.

The position requires an MS LPN license, 2–3 years of LPN experience, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. Hospice experience is preferred. ESOP ownership and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing and supportive care per the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care under the RN.
• Coordinates with physicians, hospice team, and other agencies to arrange optimal care.
• Documents all services and submits them on appropriate forms.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid hospice regulations.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Exhibits strong time management skills.

Job Duties
