Job summary

Dungarvin seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in our New Castle, IN adult residential facilities. This full-time role involves travel between the Kokomo, Peru, and Lafayette areas, with Monday–Friday hours, typically 8am–5pm and no weekends.

You will ensure quality, individualized health care management, conduct site visits, assess vitals, document progress, and train staff in medical practices while maintaining compliance with state

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Indiana required
• 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities or other long-term care is preferred
• Must be skilled, flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work cooperatively with staff, interdisciplinary team members, and outside agencies
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Organizational and computer skills
• Acceptable background check & driving record check

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each individual receives quality, individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health
• Conducting routine site visits, checking vitals, doing assessments, counseling of medication administration, and documenting progress
• Act as a health/medical resource for staff, training staff in the medical arena
• Conduct audits and reviews of medications
• Ensure that the company is in compliance with state requirements and organizational policies regarding medical care and records

Job Description

***This position will travel between the Kokomo/Peru/Lafayette areas***

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities in New Castle, IN.
