Job summary

Steelville Care and Rehab in Missouri seeks compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team. You will provide skilled nursing care, document resident conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with a supportive team to uphold high standards of resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of nursing.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents residents’ condition and needs.
• Administers medications as ordered by physicians.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for residents.
• Documents treatment as required.
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely.

Available Night and Day Shifts:

• 6:00am to 6:00pm

• 6:00pm to 6:00am

Essential Functionsof Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner

• Others duties as assigned

Qualificationsof Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Valid LPN license for the state of Missouri

• Valid CPR certification
