Jefferson City Care and Rehab in Jefferson City, MO, seeks compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to deliver high-quality resident care in a team environment.

We offer full-time, part-time, or per diem roles along with competitive pay, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, up to 5,000 per year for tuition, 401(k) with company match, and medical, dental, and vision coverage including Teledoc.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license for Missouri is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing and care planning.
• Assess and document residents' condition and needs.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign nursing tasks to team members based on resident needs.
• Administer medications and start IVs as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in a safe, clean manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Available Night and Day Shifts:

• 7:00am to 7:00pm
• 7:00pm to 7:00am

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person's capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Valid LPN license for the state of Missouri
• Valid CPR certification
