Village Behavioral Health is a psychiatric residential treatment center offering a full spectrum of treatment options for children and adolescents ages 10-17. A unique aspect of our program is the integration of nature into our therapeutic process. We are located in Louisville, TN, just 20 minutes from Knoxville, on the scenic Tennessee River over 65 wooded acres.

Shift Differentials:

• $3.25 Week Nights 6p-6a
• $3.75 Weekend Days 6a-6p
• $4.00 Weekend Nights 6p-6a

Purpose:

Provide nursing care within the standards and scope of practice as defined by state Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and protocols. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude, prioritizing patient safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor patient health and provide basic care within the LPN scope, following care plans.
2. Model excellent customer service and prioritize patient safety.
3. Collaborate to meet patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, developmental, and cultural needs, addressing concerns proactively.
4. Ensure patient comfort and implement individualized nursing interventions.
5. Apply interventions to promote wellness and maintain health.
6. Discuss care with patients, listen to concerns, and report changes to nurses and doctors.
7. Administer medication safely per policies and physician orders.
8. Maintain professional nursing standards and proper documentation.

Other functions:

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• One or more years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification (training provided upon hire).
