Job description

Homestead Hills Senior Living Community is seeking to hire Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in Winston-Salem, NC. Come see why we are certified as a Great Place to Work! We welcome newly licensed LPNs as well as seasoned professionals.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • First shift: Starting at $26.62/hour based on experience
  • Third shift: Starting at $30.79/hour based on experience (includes shift differential)
  • Sign-on bonus: $5,000

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling with rotating two-week track
  • First shift: 7am-7pm
  • Third shift: 7pm-7am
  • Rotating weekends (every other weekend)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on resident care, administer medications and treatments properly and timely, and respond rapidly to emergencies
  • Perform assessments, record vital signs, and document care accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living following the Resident Care Plan
  • Participate in in-service training and mentor team members
  • Attend scheduled training and education programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current state licensure as an LPN or LVN in good standing
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
  • Four-year college degree is preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred but not required
