Job summary

The Oaks at Flower Mound, part of Greenbrier Senior Living, is seeking a compassionate Charge Nurse (LVN/LPN) to support Assisted Living and Memory Care teams. You will oversee resident care, administer medications, and guide care staff while ensuring quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a Texas LVN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of relevant experience. Competitive pay ($30-$34/hour) with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Texas LVN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Sound clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to compassionate resident care.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including assisting with resident transfers and repositioning using appropriate equipment or assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan.
• Administer medications and complete required documentation in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and community policies.
• Complete resident assessments and maintain current care plans.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Document care, observations, procedures, and communication with residents’ responsible parties by the end of each shift.
• Provide guidance and direction to care associates as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
