Avalon Health Care Group is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our Avalon Care Center in Federal Way, WA. The role offers full-time and PRN shifts with a $37.00–$42.50 hourly wage, plus a $4 night shift differential.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington State.
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Recent geriatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of an RN or physician.
• Develop, implement, and update resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Monitor resident health and report condition changes.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and the care team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington State
• Understanding of state and federal regulations governing long-term care
• Knowledge of infection control practices and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills in geriatrics preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings
