Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane, WA is seeking an Admissions Nurse (LPN) to welcome new residents and coordinate smooth transitions into the facility. This part-time role offers a stable schedule within a single location.

The ideal candidate holds a Washington State LPN license or NCLEX eligibility for NLC, brings skilled nursing or long-term care experience, and demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills. Compensation is $43.00–$48.95 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Washington State or NLC eligible.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Complete admission assessments and clinical evaluations for incoming residents.
• Coordinate admissions to ensure a smooth transition into the facility.
• Review medical records, physician orders, medications, and care needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care.
• Educate residents and families regarding the admission process and care expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance throughout the admission process.
