Magnolia Creek is hiring a dedicated LPN to provide bedside nursing care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, collecting health information, and coordinating with RNs and physicians to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care including personal hygiene
• Record vital signs (BP, pulse, resp rate)
• Collect health information from patients
• Relay information between patients, RNs and physicians
• Administer oral meds and injections
• Test blood sugar levels
• Urinary catheter insertion and care
• Assist patients with personal hygiene
• Monitor for changes in patients
• Maintain medical records and proper documentation
• Ask questions for clarification from RN
• Serve as a role model for staff

LPN responsibilities:

• Provide bedside care to patients including personal hygiene maintenance

• Record the patients’ vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate)

• Collect patient’s health information

• Relay information between patients, registered nurses, and physicians

• Give oral medications and injections to patients

• Test a patient’s blood sugar levels

• Urinary catheter insertion and care

• LTC, geriatrics or rehab.

• Assist patients with personal hygiene

• Monitor for changes in patients

• Proper charting, documentation, and maintenance of patient’s medical records

• Asks questions when in doubt for clarification by the Registered Nurse.

• Acts as a role model for ancillary personnel.

• Maintains the confidentiality of the patient’s clinical records.

LPNqualifications:
