River Grove Health and Rehabilitation in Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide bedside care in a long‑term care setting. You will monitor vital signs, administer medications, assist with personal hygiene, and ensure accurate charting while coordinating with RNs and physicians.

The role includes a new wage scale with shift differentials, a sign-on bonus for full‑time hires, quarterly raises, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state.
• At least one year of LPN experience in a long‑term care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside care to patients, including personal hygiene maintenance.
• Record the patients’ vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate).
• Collect patients’ health information.
• Relay information between patients, registered nurses, and physicians.
• Give oral medications and injections to patients.
• Test a patient’s blood sugar levels.
• Urinary catheter insertion and care.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene.
• Monitor for changes in patients.
• Proper charting, documentation, and maintenance of patients’ medical records.
• Asks questions when in doubt for clarification by the Registered Nurse.
• Acts as a role model for ancillary personnel.
• Maintains the confidentiality of the patient’s clinical records.
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor

LPN Job Description:
