Job summary

The Palace Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Red Boiling Springs, TN is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our caring team on full-time night shifts or PRN roles.

You will provide bedside care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, document accurately, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to deliver resident-centered care in a deficiency-free facility. We offer growth, benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state.
• At least one year of LPN experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work nights and PRN as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients including personal hygiene maintenance.
• Record patients' vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate).
• Collect patient's health information.
• Relay information between patients, RNs, and physicians.
• Give oral medications and injections to patients.
• Test blood sugar levels.
• Urinary catheter insertion and care.
• Wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene.
• Monitor for changes in patients.
• Proper charting and maintenance of medical records.
• Ask questions when in doubt for clarification by the RN.
• Act as a role model for ancillary personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.

LPN Job Description:
