Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse at Via Christi Village Manhattan in Manhattan, KS for night, full-time shifts. You will provide compassionate bedside care to long-term care residents under RN or physician direction.

You will support resident assessments, safely administer medications, assist with routine tests, and promote safety and well-being through education and timely response to changes.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN) license required
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year applicable experience
• Note: Required licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
