Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse to join the hall nurse team. The role involves planning and implementing unit activities, medication administration, and ensuring resident safety and rights are protected.

Responsibilities include charting, communicating with physicians and RN supervisors, and orienting new unlicensed staff. Employment is on-site with standard nursing shift duties and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/RN program.
• Must possess a valid and current LPN/RN license in the state of the facility.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Minimum age 19.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/administer medications as ordered by the physician and according to policy.
• Chart nurses’ notes reflecting care provided and resident responses.
• Record and chart patient information and vital signs.
• Assist in orientation of unlicensed personnel to nursing procedures.
• Carry out prescribed nursing interventions and participate in treatment plans.
• Ensure infection control and aseptic techniques are followed.
