Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN/RN program.
• Current LPN/RN license in the state.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Experience in hospital or skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to handle emotional stress and patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning and implementing unit activities as assigned by DON/RN.
• Administers medications as ordered and charts appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality and resident rights.
• Admit, transfer, discharge residents and coordinate transportation.
• Monitor residents and report changes to RN/DON.
• Ensure infection control and safety in nursing activities.
