Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads, VA. You will provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and coordinate with care teams to ensure patient well-being.

We offer per diem shifts with competitive pay at $37-$39/hour, and options for Same-Day or Next-Day pay, plus a hiring bonus after two shifts and weekly pay. Local applicants encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements
