Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling and competitive pay of $37–$39 per hour.

Local applicants preferred. The role involves providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, wound care, and coordinating care with other healthcare providers. BLS/CPR and active LPN license are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties as needed.

Requirements
