Job summary

Bethesda Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will assess residents, document changes, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to revise care plans as needed.

Responsibilities include timely medication administration, IV therapy if certified, and education for residents and families. Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state you will be working.
• IV certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Experience in long-term care/rehab/assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessments.
• Document assessments accurately and communicate changes to IDT.
• Implement care plans and nursing interventions per orders.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely (IV administration if IV certified).
• Assist residents with ADLs and respond to call lights.
