Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care, assess residents at admission and throughout stay, and coordinate with the IDT and families. This role involves documenting actions, administering medications and IV fluids, and supporting care plans across Bethesda communities.

Qualified candidates will hold an LPN license, CPR certification, and IV certification, with 2+ years of LTC/rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

Must be an LPN licensed in applicable states.
Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
IV certification required.
Two years of nursing experience preferred; three years ideal.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing basis.
Communicate changes in resident condition to the IDT and families; document accurately.
Administer medications and treatments in a safe, timely manner.
Assist with ADLs and IV fluid administration; follow care plans.
Participate in care planning and update plans as interventions change.
