Job summary

Ascension Medical Group in Wichita, KS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, safe patient care under clinical leadership. You’ll monitor patient well-being, administer medications, and support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Practical Nurse credentialed by the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable experience.
• Licensure/certification can substitute for education or experience, if applicable.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
