Job summary

Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, KS, is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the NICU team for night shift, part-time hours. You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include real-time patient monitoring, precise documentation, and coordinating comprehensive discharge plans to support smooth transitions from hospital to home.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification required within 180 days of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
