Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Part-Time Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Maryland Correctional Training Center in Hagerstown, MD. You will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision and collaborate with medical and psychiatric staff during night shifts.

The role requires an active Maryland LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and potential for a security clearance. Night hours 11:30 pm–8:00 am, with every other weekend staffing.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maryland.
• At least 1 year LPN experience in clinic/hospital/long-term care preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including background check.

Responsibilities

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Maryland Correctional Training Center (MCTC) located in Hagerstown, Maryland.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Available shift: Night shift 11:30 pm - 8:00 am, every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
