Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, MD. The role involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated individuals during night shifts under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and preferably has corrections experience and at least one year of LPN work in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or long-term care facilities.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LPN license.
• At least 1 year of LPN experience in outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Work under direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Partnering with Ruach Consulting, we are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, MD.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
