Job summary

Apple Valley Health & Rehabilitation, located in Washington, is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join a long-term care and skilled nursing team. You will provide nursing care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support wellbeing and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in WA.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.
