Job summary

Amedisys in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our home health team. The position offers daytime hours, orientation pay of $30.00–$32.00 per hour, and earnings potential of $40–$42 per patient visit, with additional mileage reimbursement of $0.53 per mile.

Qualifications

• One year of LPN clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to address patient needs and notify changes promptly.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs during visits.
• Review all medications and perform medication reconciliation.
• Perform specialized procedures ordered by physician (e.g., Foley catheter change).
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
