Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is hiring a licensed practical nurse for full-time day shifts in Arizona. Orientation pays $30.00-$32.00/hour, followed by per-visit rates of $40-$42 with potential earnings based on visit volume.

Qualifications

• One year of LPN clinical experience is required.
• Current LPN license valid for the assigned state.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to meet patient needs; notify changes promptly.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review medications and reconcile at each visit.
• Perform procedures ordered by physician (e.g., Foley catheter changes).
• Prepare equipment/materials using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
