Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Houma is seeking an LPN to provide direct and indirect patient care across departments under RN supervision. You will help meet psychosocial and general care needs while adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

The position requires Louisiana LPN licensure, current BLS certification, and strong English communication. Night and weekend shift differentials are offered to support a dynamic, patient-centered team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Louisiana LPN licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care meeting psychosocial and general care needs under RN supervision.
• Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies and standards.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team members.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

AMG Specialty Hospital - Houma is seeking LPN for All Shifts!

This LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Louisiana LPN licensure unencumbered.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year of work experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
