Job summary

Acadiana Management Group’s AMG Specialty Hospital - Houma is seeking Full Time Registered Nurses for all shifts with ICU/Step-down experience. The team communicates changes in patients’ clinical conditions with physicians and coworkers, responds quickly to changes in condition, and performs general nursing duties across departments with supervision.

We require Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current Louisiana RN licensure, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN licensure.
• ICU, Critical Care or Step-Down experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
• Communicate with physicians and team about changes in patient condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient status and diagnostic results.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision.
• Shift differentials apply for Night and Weekend shifts.

AMG Specialty Hospital -HoumaisseekingFull TimeRegistered Nurses, RN for All Shifts with ICU/Step-down experience!Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditionor response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN'swill beresponsible fordirect and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
