Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Zachary is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for full-time, all shifts. The facility treats complex medical needs in a long-term acute care setting and emphasizes high-quality patient care within a team-based environment.

Applicants should hold Louisiana RN or LPN licensure, with BLS and ACLS certifications, and 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

AMG Specialty Hospital Zachary seeks FullTime Registered Nurses, RN and Full Time LicensedPractical Nurses, LPN for all shifts. Excellent opportunity for yournursing career! Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treatedinclude but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation,vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on thecomplexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management,pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicatedinfections requiring log-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non=healing woundsrequiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressingchanges. RN's will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care inthe long-term acute care setting. Ability to communicate with physicians,CCO/coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditionincluding results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respondquickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments withadequate supervision. LPN will provide patient care services that meetthe psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communicationneeds of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative andresponsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervisionof a Registered Nurse. Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursingand hospital policies, procedures and standards.

Job Requirements

• CurrentRN or LPN Louisiana Licensure.
• Acutecare, med-surg, critical care of ICU experience is preferred.
