Job summary

Greenbrier Village Health and Rehab in Enid, OK is seeking an LPN to provide compassionate geriatric care in a community-based setting. You will follow physician orders, perform assessments, record measurements, and support families through treatment and recovery.

The role involves administering medications, documenting changes, and assisting with wounds and basic care tasks while delivering emotional support to residents and their loved ones.

Qualifications

• LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a community-based care setting preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician orders and provide detailed assessment data for quality resident care.
• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side-effects of medications.
• Document any change in patients’ condition and notify physician/supervisor.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, clean and dress wounds, and assist with basic care tasks.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.

Job Requirements:

• Have a current state LPN License.
• 1-year experience as an LPN, in a community-based care setting (preferred).
• Follow State regulations as well as company policies and guidelines.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• LPN students who meet certain criteria may be considered for this position!
