Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) is seeking MD licensed plumbers to join our team onsite for a contract in Beltsville, Maryland. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing and monitoring large scale commercial/industrial generator and power distribution components.

Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED, MD plumber license, OSHA training, and strong English communication. Ability to work after hours and weekends, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical graduates preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with commercial plumbing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, preventative and routine maintenance, maintain logs.
• Inspect, lubricate, troubleshoot, test and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Replace seals, valves and maintain water, sanitary and related systems.
• Demonstrate analytical skills to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and communicate findings clearly.
• Support after hours and weekend emergency response.

ICMS is looking for MD licensed Plumbers to join our team onsite for a contract in Beltsville, Maryland . Successful candidates should have proven, demonstrated experience troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing and monitoring large scale commercial/ industrial generator and power distribution components.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, preventative and routine maintenance, maintain accurate logs and history.
• Inspect, lubricate, troubleshoot, test and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
• Replace seals, valves and maintain water, sanitary and related systems
• Possess analytical skills necessary to recognize, diagnose, and, within limits, repair equipment and system malfunctions.
• Understand verbal and written instructions and to give readily understood information in both verbal and written forms
• Capable of support after hours and weekend emergency response

Required Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or GED is standard. Preference is highly weighted toward graduates of vocational/technical programs
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with commercial plumbing
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• A valid state’s driver's license (with no major infractions) is required
• Journeyman or Master Plumber/ Gas Fitter license from State of Maryland
• OSHA Training

Security Clearance:

All contractor personnel must attain and maintain a USDA LincPass and pass a background check; personnel must be U.S. Citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents.

Job Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Onsite Position (Telecommute not considered for this position)

Work schedules are subject to change based on client and company needs. As a management position, this person will be on call regularly and be available for and respond to emergencies off shift.

Hourly Pay: $31.42 per hour
