Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) is seeking HVAC Mechanics to join our team onsite in Beltsville, Maryland on a full-time contract. Successful candidates will troubleshoot, maintain, service and monitor large-scale commercial/industrial HVAC systems and associated components for federal/state government and commercial clients.

Requirements include a minimum of three years’ experience, a Maryland HVAC license, EPA 608, OSHA 30, valid driver's license, and U.S.

Competenze

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an HVAC mechanic in an industrial/commercial setting, preferably under a federal contract.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.

Mansioni

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance, maintain accurate logs and history.
• Generate monthly inspection for all HVAC equipment and maintain logs and measurement logs.
• Knowledge of operations of broad HVAC systems and components.
• Facilitate annual and semiannual Pressure Vessel inspections with a certified inspector.
• Understand plumbing and electrical repairs as they pertain to HVAC equipment.
• Learn manufacturer equipment recommendations and develop SOPs and PMs.
• Understand verbal and written instructions and communicate clearly.
• Be capable of after-hours and weekend emergency response.

ICMS is looking for HVAC Mechanics to join our team onsite for a contract in Beltsville, Maryland. Successful candidates should have proven, demonstrated experience troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing and monitoring large scale commercial/ industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and auxiliary components.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance, maintain accurate logs and history.
• Generate monthly inspection for all HVAC equipment and maintain maintenance logs, operational logs, and fuel oil measurement logs
• Knowledge of operations of broad HVAC systems and components
• Facilitate annual and semiannual Pressure Vessel Inspections with a certified inspector
• Possess a thorough understanding of plumbing and electrical repairs as it pertains to HVAC equipment.
• Possess analytical skills necessary to recognize, diagnose, and, within limits, repair equipment and system malfunctions.
• Learn specific manufacturer equipment recommendations and develop SOPs and PMs
• Understand verbal and written instructions and to give readily understood information in both verbal and written forms
• Capable of support after hours and weekend emergency response

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience serving as an HVAC mechanic in an industrial/ commercial setting, preferably under a federal contract.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.

Required Licenses and Certifications

• A valid state’s driver's license (with no major infractions) is required
• Possess a valid HVAC license issued by the State of Maryland
• EPA 608 Universal
• OSHA 30 Training

Security Clearance:

All contractor personnel must attain and maintain a USDA LincPass and pass a background check; personnel must be U.S. Citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents.

Job Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Onsite Position (Telecommute not considered for this position)

Work schedules are subject to change based on client and company needs. As a management position, this person will be on call regularly and be available for and respond to emergencies off shift.

Hourly Pay: $36.51 per hour
