Responsibilities

• Test, repair, or replace valves, fittings and pipe insulation in steam distribution systems.
• Install and repair underground steam, water, storm drains and sewer lines using plans and drawings.
• Locate, diagnose, and repair failures in steam, water, reclaimed water, storm water and sewer networks.
• Interpret maps, work orders, and utility diagrams to guide maintenance work.
• Perform construction work safely and in accordance with UMA procedures.
