Job summary

The incumbent will read plans, coordinate with Control Technicians, supervise lower grade workers, and perform asbestos-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Plumbing and Gasfitting license/journeyman required.
• Journeyman plumber with field experience.
• Current Class D driver's license required.
• Six-month timeline to obtain asbestos, pump, and Metasys certificates.
• Able to read plans and specifications and supervise helpers.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and mentors staff in plumbing and steamfitting operations.
• Responds to and repairs plumbing, steam, and HVAC systems including controls.
• Performs preventive maintenance and calibration of building systems.
• Assists with drawings review, inspections, and equipment upgrades.
• Drives a vehicle on campus to service residential buildings.
