Job summary

The Health Center at Galloway is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary team in a full-time role. The PTA will assist in implementing the treatment plan and support residents' rehabilitation, working closely with supervising therapists.

Qualified candidates hold an associate degree in physical therapy or an equivalent, with active PTA licensure/certification. Prior experience with older adults and knowledge of regulatory guidelines are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an associate’s degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy.
• Licensed or certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the relevant state.
• Experience with older adults and knowledge of regulatory guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident rehabilitation care per plan of care.
• Collaborates with supervising therapist to monitor progress.
• Completes required documentation accurately and timely.
• Provides feedback to therapists and Rehabilitation Director.
• Participates in center-directed processes and services.
• Makes efficient use of treatment time and resources.
• Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
• May travel to other facilities to provide treatments.
