Job summary

Barnegatrehab is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the plan of treatment for residents and work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

This full-time position requires graduation with an associate’s degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy and active state licensure. Experience with older adults is preferred and travel to other facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an associate's degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy.
• Licensed or equivalent certification accepted by the designated professional accrediting body.
• Experience in older adult rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident rehabilitation care per the plan of care.
• Communicates resident condition with supervising therapist to ensure quality outcomes.
• Performs required documentation as directed.
• Provides feedback to therapist and Director of Rehabilitation on clinical issues.
• Participates in center processes and services.
• Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
• May travel to other facilities to provide treatments.
