Job summary

Westgate Gardens Care Center is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide skilled treatment to help residents regain mobility and independence in a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate has PTA training, California licensure, CPR, and experience in geriatric rehab. Join a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to resident-centered care and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current California PTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification as required by policy/licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA treatment per supervising PT plan of care.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training.
• Monitor and report patient responses to therapy.
• Complete timely, accurate treatment documentation.
• Follow facility, regulatory and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and rehab teams.
