Qualifications

• Current NJ licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and licensure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Work with rehabilitation team to implement programs matching patient needs.
• Instruct patients, families and caregivers to maximize independence and safety.
• Adhere to procedures for documentation and billing of PT services.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in implementing therapy programs and plans.
• Conduct treatment according to established plan and physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment with the Physical Therapist as needed.
• Educate residents and families about PT procedures to support carryover beyond sessions.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and coworkers.
