Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school required.
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State with current licensure.
• CPR certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment. Develops comprehensive, functional evaluations and treatment plans.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and ICD-9 coding as appropriate.
• Meets department productivity standards and supports budgeted expectations.
• Participates in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and education of health care workers and supports committees.
• Supervises PT and PT assistant students to develop clinical skills.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff and external customers.
• Delivers care in alignment with age/developmental guidelines and hospital standards.

Education
